81 years ago, on the night of May 6-7, in Reims, the unconditional surrender of Germany was signed.

On May 8, 1975, finally, after years or hardship, horrors and fighting, Europe was liberated from the totalitarian and genocidal grip of Nazism.

Liberated by all the allies. Liberated with the help of the armies of France, the only France, (the one) that fights and does not surrender.

Let us never forget: before being a defeat of arms, the defeat of 1940 was first and foremost a defeat of the spirit...
